Letter: Joint Trade Letter to FHFA on the Release of Historical Credit Score Data
USMI joined the American Bankers Association, Housing Policy Council, Independent Community Bankers of America, and Mortgage Bankers Association in sending a letter to Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Sandra Thompson regarding the publication of the VantageScore 4.0 historical dataset planned for early in 3Q 2024. The coalition hopes that providing early, proactive, and constructive feedback to FHFA and the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) will allow adequate time to augment the data made available in the planned 3Q 2024 data release as well as in any subsequent data release.
